AC September '06: the Highlands Festival

Synopsis:We’d been wanting to do it for a while. At last, we got our haggis together and visited the Highland Festival in Estes Park! It was grand! We saw lots of pieces of Scottish culture. The rain turned sour, but it didn’t dampen our little spirits! Very festive in kilts, too!

AC October '06: the Passion of the Postcards

Synopsis:We had a grand day with postcards. Kevin furnished some paintable postcards, excellent. We painted and created. Greg created a program where we could find random people from around the country and so we sent them our creations. No one wrote back, wah! But it was a fine, postcardy day!

AC November '06: Do You Like the Zoo Too?

Synopsis:Time to enjoy a free day at the zoo. There was terror! There were rodents! There were drums beaten in answer to the primal lust in us all. And then we went back to the Grinka’s for soup. Huzzah!

AC December '06: Building an Adventure Club Baby

Synopsis:It was time for Adventure Club to make its way into the world via the web. The world would certainly never be the same again. We came together like a bunch of Amish and, in a single day, built a website! Yay us! It’s been added to, tweaked, and loved upon, but the basic model was up by day’s end. What a tribute to cooperation!

AC February '07: Iron Statues Are Musical Too

Synopsis:We decided to go highbrow today, sort of. We visited the Lone Tree Museum, where they have great art and statues, then we visited the Boulder Philharmonic for a free concert …for kids. Hmmm, that was noisy! We also hosted Anthony, our first ever prospective creator of a new AC! We gave him a Starter Kit and it promptly acted as a Talisman of Doom! You’ll have to ask about that one.
